Martin Alexander Aiono, known as Alex Aiono, was born on February 16, 1996, in Phoenix, Arizona. Growing up in the Phoenix area, he developed an early interest in music, mastering several instruments including drums, piano, and guitar. Driven by a passion for becoming a professional musician, Aiono’s family relocated to Los Angeles to provide him with better opportunities for a breakthrough in the music industry.

While living in a one-bedroom apartment with his family, Aiono started a YouTube channel to showcase his talent and promote his music. His channel quickly gained traction, contributing to his popularity as an online media personality. By 2013, he released his debut single, “Doesn’t Get Better,” followed by his first EP, Young & Foolish, which included the title track co-written by John Legend. This collaboration underscored Aiono's potential and caught the attention of the music industry.

In 2017, Aiono's musical abilities led him to sign with Interscope Records. Under the label, he released his major label debut EP, Does It Feel Like Falling, on September 18, 2017. This EP featured notable singles such as “Does It Feel Like Falling,” featuring Trinidad Cardona, and “One At a Time,” featuring T-Pain Booking Agent & Management" href="https://stage.onlinetalent.com/artist/hiphop/Tpain.php"> T-Pain. In addition, he collaborated with Feder on the single “Lordy” and toured with William Singe on The Changes Tour.

Aiono successfully completed his first headlining tour, The After Party Tour, in late 2017, further establishing his presence in the music scene. He announced another tour, The Feels Like Tour, set for 2018. His online influence continued to grow, with his YouTube channel amassing over six million subscribers and more than one billion views on his videos, particularly for his "flipped" versions of popular songs, including the widely successful mash-up of "One Dance."

In addition to his music career, Aiono made his acting debut in the Netflix film Finding ?Ohana, showcasing his versatility as an entertainer. He is recognized not only for his musical contributions but also for his considerable impact on social media, where his engaging presence has garnered him a substantial following.
