The duo first gained success with Hall and Oates, released in 1975.

Their second release, Abandoned Luncheonette, included the hit single "She's Gone,” and a succession of albums released over the next few years would reveal consistent, steady hits. Daryl Hall Booking Agent & Management" href="https://stage.onlinetalent.com/artist/classic_rock/daryl_hall.php"> Daryl Hall and John Oates Booking Agent & Management" href="https://stage.onlinetalent.com/artist/adult_contemporary/john-oates.php"> John Oates, their RCA debut, included “Sara, Sara,” which was a chart-topper, and Bigger Than Both of Us, in 1976, included “Rich Girl.” Voices offered “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling” and “ Kiss on my List” in 1980, and Private Eyes gave the title track and the single “I Can’t Go For That.” A greatest hits collection from Hall & Oates, Rock’n’Soul Part One included the new hits “Adult Education” and “Say it Isn’t So,” and by the late 1980’s, Hall and Oates held the record for the largest number of number one hits by a duo. More album releases between 1984 gave audiences “Out of Touch” and “Method of Modern Love,” and by the early 1990’s, Hall and Oates decided to focus more on solo projects in lieu of additional tours.

Six years after that announcement, Hall and Oates released Do It For Love, in 2003, and a CD of covers, Our Kind of Soul, was released in 2004, followed by a DVD of live performances, of the same name, in 2005. Today, Hall and Oates have the distinction of being listed on VH1 and Billboard Magazine’s 100 Greatest Artist of All Time. The duo was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014, and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame a few years later. Hall and Oates continue to perform together; they most recently launched a summer tour in 2017, performing as a co-headliner with the duo Tears for Fears.
