The legendary American record producer and songwriter known as Timbaland was born Tim Mosley is 1972 in Norfolk, Virginia. After graduating from high school, Timbaland initially entered the world of music as a DJ, known as DJ Timmy Tim or sometimes simply DJ Tim.
