Tessa Thompson is an American actress and singer born in 1983. She was born in Los Angeles, California, and was raised between there and Brooklyn, New York. he attended high school in Santa Monica and grew a love for acting while participating in plays. Thompson’s theatre career took off in 2002 when she was in a production of The Tempest and Romeo & Juliet.
