The American model and television host Cheryl Burke was born in 1984 in San Francisco, California. Burke rose to fame as one of the professional dancers on the hit ABC reality competition, Dancing with the Stars, joining the show in its second season. Now in her fifteenth season on the show, Burke continues to dazzle audiences with her performances alongside the celebrities in competition.

Over the course of her time with Dancing with the Stars, Cheryl has earned eighty-eight perfect tens for scores, and she is the only female professional dancer that has managed to reach all the final levels (first through third) at least twice. Burke has won two championships so far; the first with Drew Lachey of 98 Degrees in the second season (and her first season with the show), and the second time in the show’s third season, with retired football star Emmitt Smith.
