Badflower BIO

Badflower are an American band that formed in 2013. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Josh Katz, bassist Alex Espiritu, drummer Anthony Sonetti, and guitarist Joey Morrow. The Los Angeles alt-rock band met during college and began making small EPs and playing local shows across LA and Hollywood. An independent record deal gained from Badflower's stage presence led to a major label deal in the mid-2010s once the band performed well with their debut single, “Soap."

Badflower continued to tour and play the SXSW circuit and perform well on streaming platforms and radio stations. Years of successful singles and smaller EP releases led to their debut album release in 2019 with OK, I’m Sick. Led by their hit single, “ Ghost,” Badflower managed to perform well with critics and fans alike which led to further touring and certifications.

Badflower’s debut project would peak at #140 on the Billboard 200 chart and top the US Heatseekers chart. The success of this record was assisted by “ Ghost,” which was certified Gold by the RIAA and peaked at #11 on the US Rock chart and #2 on the US Mainstream Rock chart. Badflower Ould top the US Mainstream chart with two more tracks off of the album: “Heroin” and “The Jester."

Badflower’s 2020 single, “30,” performed well on the charts, peaking at #2 on the US Mainstream chart and #44 on the Canadian Rock chart.
