Billy Currington, born on November 19, 1973, in Savannah, Georgia, is a country music singer and songwriter. After graduating from high school, he relocated to Nashville to pursue a career in music. To make ends meet, Currington worked various jobs, including as a personal trainer, which ultimately led to a breakthrough in his music career. One of his clients helped him produce a demo, which found its way to Mercury Records, resulting in a record deal in 2003.

Currington's self-titled debut album was released in 2003, featuring the hit single "Walk a Little Straighter," which helped establish him as a rising artist. The album also included the charting single "I Got a Feelin'." The following year, he collaborated with Shania Twain on the duet "Party for Two," which also landed on the charts. This marked the beginning of a successful career, with Currington releasing several hit albums and singles in the subsequent years.

Some of Currington's notable albums include Doin' Somethin' Right (2005), Little Bit of Everything (2008), Enjoy Yourself (2010), We Are Tonight (2013), Summer Forever (2015), and Intuition (2021). These albums have produced 18 singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, including 11 number one hits. Currington's chart-topping singles demonstrate his ability to craft catchy and relatable country music.
