Katie Armiger was born in 1991 and grew up in Sugar Land, Texas. Katie arrived on the music scene in 2007 with her self-titled debut album, but it wasn’t until 2010 that she began to gain some attention. After the release of Katie Armiger, which featured the songs “17 in Abilene” and “Make Me Believe,” Armiger returned to the studio to prepare for her sophomore effort, which arrived in 2008.

 

Believe, released on Cold River Records, featured the songs “Unseen,” “Trail of Lies,” and “Gone,” but still only garnered Armiger moderate success. Neither album managed to find a home on the charts, but Katie Armiger’s breakthrough was just around the corner. Katie returned to the studio in 2009 to prepare for her third album, Confessions of a Nice Girl, which arrived in 2010. This time, the album earned Armiger the recognition she sought, with the hit song “ Kiss Me Now,” followed by: “Leaving Home,” “I Do But Do I,” “Scream,” and “Best Song Ever,” which rose into the top forty.

 

In 2012, Katie Armiger previewed her next studio album with the songs “Better in a Black Dress,” “Playin’ with Fire,” and “Safe,” all of which also charted. The album Fall Into Me was released in 2013, and so far has been Katie Armiger’s most successful to date, rising into the top ten on the charts. Most recently, Katie Armiger released the song “One Night Between Friends,” scheduled to appear on her next album, scheduled to arrive in the near future.
