Bailey Lynn Zimmerman, born on January 27, 2000, in Louisville, Illinois, is an American country singer who gained significant recognition in recent years. He made a notable impact on the country charts in 2022 with his breakout singles "Fall in Love" and "Rock and a Hard Place," both of which reached number one on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. His debut album, Religiously. The Album., was released on May 12, 2023, and features hit tracks including "Religiously" and "Where It Ends."Zimmerman developed his passion for music at a young age, picking up the guitar at nine years old. Influenced by a blend of genres, his musical tastes were shaped by his mother, who introduced him to hair metal bands and artists like Kid Rock and Nickelback, while his father often played country music during their long drives. Although he harbored an interest in music from an early age, he initially pursued a career in the meat-packing industry before moving on to work on a union gas pipeline after graduating from North Clay High School in May 2018.While working at his stepbrother's welding business, Zimmerman recorded a cover of "Stay" by Black Stone Cherry to share on Snapchat, hoping to impress friends. This video captured the attention of songwriter Gavin Lucas, leading to a partnership that resulted in the original song "Never Comin' Home." In December 2020, he began sharing snippets of his music on TikTok, and a clip of "Never Comin' Home" quickly garnered over a million views, prompting him to seek a professional recording.His debut single, "Never Comin' Home," was released on February 3, 2021, and quickly climbed to the top 20 on Spotify's Viral Chart in the U.S. Following this success, he signed with Core Entertainment and performed his first live show at "Rock The South 2021."
