Laura Bell Bundy was born in 1981 in Kentucky and began performing in theater before she was in middle school. After graduating from high school, Laura began modeling, and at the age of fourteen, she made her big screen debut in the film The Adventures of Huck Finn.

The film was a terrific start to an acting career which would bring Laura Bell Bundy to film, television, and stage, starring in such notable plays as Ruthless! The Musical, Hairspray, Wicked, Legally Blonde: the Musical, and films such as Life with Mikey, Jimanji, and Dreamgirls. Appearance on television include roles in Cold Case, Happy Hour, Strangers with Candy, How I Met Your Mother, and Modern Men.

But Bundy always had aspirations as a singer, particularly a country music singer, and in 2007 she made her debut with the album Longing for a Place Already Gone.
