The Italian pop trio known as Il Volo was established in 2010. Comprised of members: Gianluca Ginoble, Ignazio Boschetto, and Piero Barone, the earliest beginnings of the group were in 2009, when all three members found themselves in competition for Italian television show, TI Booking Agent & Management" href="https://stage.onlinetalent.com/artist/hiphop/ TI.php"> TI.php">Ti lascio una canzone, and were selected to perform “O sole mio” as a trio. The performance was so remarkable, and the chemistry between all three members so unique, that they decided to forgo their efforts as individual solo artists and establish a group.

Thus, Il Volo was born. The trios earliest gigs were as contributing members to the update of “We Are the World,” in support of Haiti, and a number of international music festivals, at which they performed songs such as “Un Amore Cosi Grande” and “Granada.” Il Volo also began plans for a debut album, and in late 2010 the trio entered the world famous Abbey Road Studios in London to record a self-titled debut.

Released in November of that year, the album rose into the number ten spot on the Italian Albums Chart, earning gold status and becoming an international sensation upon its worldwide release a year later.  Since that time, Il Volo has released the additional albums: We Are Love (2012), Mas Que Amor (2013), and Buon Natale: The Christmas Album (2013), recording in both Italian and Spanish. The albums spawned the international hits: “El Reloj,” “Il Mondo,” “This TI Booking Agent & Management" href="https://stage.onlinetalent.com/artist/hiphop/ TI.php"> TI.php">Time,” “Smile,” “Notte Stellata (The Swan),’” and “Un Amore Cosi Grande.”

Il Volo is on the rise and just getting started, but the group has already been recognized with two Latin Billboard Music Award nominations in the categories of Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year and Latin Pop Albums Artist of the Year. In the last four years, Il Volo has embarked on nearly ten international tours, and there are plans for the group to appear live in the coming years as well.
